Who We Are

Mast Audiology Services, LLC is a private audiology practice that is committed to improving communication and overall health using hearing aid technology that betters relationships and quality of life for all patients.  Locally owned and operated by Dr. Shekinah Mast, Mast Audiology Services provides comprehensive diagnostic hearing testing, hearing aid consultations, hearing aid fittings, cerumen (ear wax) removal, and ongoing hearing aid maintenance and care to the residents of Seaford, Delaware and the surrounding community.

Our sole purpose and desire is to keep the patient and their needs first, with the main goal always being to improve each patient’s hearing and communication and ultimately improve their quality of life.

Shekinah Mast

Audiologist/Owner

Dr. Mast completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology in 2010, and her Doctorate in Audiology in 2014, both at Towson University. Dr. Mast has obtained her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Maryland Academy of Audiology. Dr. Mast was also part of a national task force with the ASHA for the creation of an Audiology Assistant Certification.

With prior experience in both Ear, Nose and Throat and private practice settings, Dr. Mast owns and operates Mast Audiology Services, LLC with her husband, Jared Mast. An active member of her community and church, she is committed to improving communication and overall health using hearing aid technology that betters relationships and quality of life for all of her patients. Originally from Dover, Delaware, Dr. Mast moved to Seaford in the summer of 2017.  She currently resides here in Seaford with her husband and three children. Her hobbies include baking bread and other homemade goodies for her family and keeping up with the various sports and activities her family is involved in.

Kaitlynn Shugar

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Kaitlynn Shugar, a native of Sussex County, earned her Associate in Arts degree from the University of Delaware in 2020. She was first introduced to the field of Audiology while working in customer service and quickly embraced the opportunity to transition into this rewarding career. Bringing her strong customer service skills with her, Kaitlynn joined a private practice in 2022, where she obtained her temporary Delaware and Maryland Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) licenses in the same year.

Over the following year and a half, she successfully completed all requirements to receive her full HIS license in both states. Kaitlynn is driven by a passion for learning, staying up-to-date with the latest technology, and is deeply committed to providing excellent care to all of her patients.

Jared Mast

Owner/Operator

Jared Mast owns and operates Mast Audiology Services with his wife, Dr. Shekinah Mast.  Prior to working in the office full-time, he was a licensed home inspector managing all of Sussex County for the largest home inspection business in Delaware with a long background in construction. Jared brings his management and construction experience to the office as well as two years of patient care experience working and training alongside Dr. Mast to obtain his Hearing Instrument Specialist License.

Originally from Dover, Delaware, Jared moved to Seaford in the summer of 2017 with Dr. Mast and their three children.  He is active in the community, serving on the City of Seaford Planning and Zoning Committee for the last year.  He is also a very active member of Crossroad Community Church, serving on multiple worship teams as a musician and singer. Jared’s hobbies include being a dad and husband. This includes doing anything outside with his kids: kayaking, canoeing, fishing, lawn and landscape maintenance, you name it! When he isn’t outside with his children, his favorite indoor activity is teaching them anything to do with music

Loren McGriff

Audiology Assistant

Loren McGriff is currently working as an Audiology Assistant at Mast Audiology. She is also enrolled on an online course to become a Hearing Instrument Specialist. She has been in her current role for nearly a year and has previous experience in patient care as a CNA. 

She grew up in Sussex County, where she met her husband, and together they now have two beautiful children. She has always been passionate about the medical field, and helping others has been a lifelong motivation for her.

Haley Revell

Patient Care Coordinator

Haley Revell is the Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator here at Mast Audiology. She brings prior experience in the audiology field, having previously served in a similar front desk role, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care and administration support. Born and raised in Sussex County, Haley has always had a passion for working with the elderly population and helping others.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs. Her hobbies include reading, going to the beach, and thrift shopping. She is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a team that makes a positive impact on the community every day and looks forward to continuing to grow both personally and professionally in her role.
